Cupping (Fire/Sliding)
Cupping is an ancient alternative therapy where cups (glass, silicone, bamboo) are placed on the skin to create suction, drawing skin and tissue upward to relieve muscle tension, improve blood flow, promote healing, and reduce pain by stimulating the body's natural response. This suction, achieved by heat or pumps, pulls blood to the surface, causing circular marks (not bruises) that signal increased circulation and detoxification.
Moxibustion Therapy
Moxa is a natural therapeutic material made from dried mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) leaves and is widely used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. When applied near acupuncture points, it produces gentle heat that improves circulation, stimulates Qi flow, and dispels cold and dampness from the body. Moxa therapy is commonly used to support conditions such as chronic pain, arthritis, digestive disorders, menstrual discomfort, fertility support, fatigue, immune weakness, and cold-related symptoms, while promoting overall balance and vitality.
